A Little Bit Of Politics
Tuesday 22nd March, 2005My new public website went live last night
which I developed wearing the hat of the Communications Officer for Runnymede
& Weybridge Constituency Labour Party.
By pure co-incidence Labour call their constituency parties CLPs which has a nice kind of Lotus ring to it, so in comes a website hosted on Lotus Domino. Running on the Dominoblog infrastructure brilliantly developed by Steve Castledine, the Runnymede & Weybridge CLP website(http://runnymede.clp.org.uk) will act as a central point for election campaigns, local news and allow for a bit of political discussion.
If the model works well, I'll hopefully be expanding it locally across other constituencies in Surrey and maybe nationally. At the least, I'm hoping that the clp.org.uk domain can at least be a simple root for all constituencies to share a common identity nationally.
