coComment Enabled

Monday 4th September, 2006
As it seems to be popping up everywhere, I though it was time to coComment enable this blog.

It's quite fun hacking around with Dominoblog to get this to work. coComment users please test and let me know any feedback.

    The coComment Firefox extension recognizes your site as being coComment enabled so it looks like it works.

    Not quite working.

    coComment is picking up the title of the blog instead of the title of the post, in this case "coComment Enabled".

    See here for an example - currently at the top of the list:

    { Link }

    Look at the code in the jscript:

    var blogTool = "DominoBlog";

    var blogURL = "{ Link }

    var blogTitle = "Jaffa's Juicy Bits";

    var postURL = { Link }

    var postTitle = <$DXSubject$>;

    var commentTextFieldName = "textcomment";

    var commentButtonName = "closer";

    var commentAuthorLoggedIn = false;

    var commentFormName = "CommentForm";

    Your blog tool doesn't know how to parse <$DXSubject$> -- are you sure it's the right tag? This should contain the post name. As coCo can't find the post name, it uses the blog name instead.

    @4 - Yes I noticed that wasn't quite working properly. Some kinda problem with parsing the tags.

    @5 - Thanks for the comments, you're correct. I do have the right tag, but it appears not to be working as I would expect...I'm investigating. The other tags work just fine.
