Lotusphere Free Zone

Friday 20th January, 2006
I officially declare this blog a Lotusphere free zone.

For those of you, like me, who are unable to attend you may be getting a bit bored with LS2006 related posts. So here is the alternative.

For the next week, I will be featuring my usual blurb from the IT industry, focussing on the usual IBM/Lotus/Gadget stuff...but none of the Lotusphere Stuff. If you want LS2006 info, those on-site are going to be in a much better position to report than me, so I suggest you look at other blogs including (but not limited to) those from Ed Brill, Vowe,  Bruce Elgort, Rocky Oliver and Chris Miller.

(any other LS2006 bloggers please feel free to paste your URL in the comments below)

For all the other news they'll be missing whilst they're in Florida, stay tuned here for "i wanted to go to Lotusphere but all I got were these lousy overpriced videos"

    Also, I've set up a consolidated feed that makes it easy for anyone to follow more than 60 bloggers at Lotusphere with just one subscription. The feed is here { Link }

    Also, if you want to browse the feeds interactively instead of subscribing, you can do that here { Link }

    My site is Lotusphere-free as is this one. I'll be posting the usual crude humor, odd 'links of the week' and perhaps even a post or two about technology or Lotus!

    Hey Ben ,

    BTW , accidentally deleted your post :-( on my site. I know, HOW bad can you get , want to post again ? cos I'm thinking that we need a Baa humbug brigade post? We really really want to be there, but we shall pretend that we are having a fine time instead ?

    I'm not jealous , to be honest , I was getting a bit jaded with the frantic pace of Lotusphere, the tearing around etc..( if I repeat it often enough I'm sure I shall convince myself) I'm sure we shall all be much happier staying at home !!!

    So what's the game plan ? We can either try and pretend that we really do not care .. OR.... take posts from those that are there and put a comic spin on it :-) I'm thinking a scenario of school kids on a field trip (now too sure how far from reality that would be ) The Oscars has its Raspberries, we have the alternative ?

    Regards,
