Furniture? Oakey Dokey
Wednesday 12th July, 2006Contemporary design constructed from classic materials...that was the requirement for our new dining furniture and we found something that matches the requirement completely.
The Hatton Collection from Sitting Firm is sold exclusive through John Lewis and totally fits the bill. Constructed from solid oak, but in a modern hand-made design that complements our house perfectly, it doesn't come cheap at over £5000 for an extending table, 6 chairs and the large sideboard but...as the lady in John Lewis explained "this isn't just a piece of furniture, this is a future antique that you will be able to pass through your family for generations".
Wow...I need some kids first!
